We love Cardinal Points! The owners are not only phenomenal people that welcome and get to know you but are extremely passionate about amazing tasting coffee. We really love how you can customize your order all the way from choosing what fresh roasts they have that week to flavor, etc. We also love that we can place orders for fresh beans that they roast weekly. Highly recommend!

My fiancée and I were visiting from out of town and this was the best coffee shop we’ve been to on our road trip. The barista John is friendly and welcoming. Currently limited options to choose from but I can see it expanding as they expand. Prices are super cheap. Between us two with drinks and a wafer it was under $10. It was a pleasant time with good coffee. John makes it a special place and I highly recommend for anyone coming through Del Rio to stop by.

Apr 2026 - STILL FANTASTIC! Love coming here for coffee & tea! Best in Del Rio, hands down! Sept 2025 - DELICIOUS CRAFT COFFEES!! Super friendly folks working the counter - John has an infectious personality! In-house roasted beans with all varieties of syrups, milks & extras. Highly recommend!

Stopped by here on my way out to camp and got an iced coffee. I highly recommend! I am so impressed with the options and flavor of the coffee, I have never tasted espresso like this before. The staff is so friendly and helpful with the menu. A must stop!

I'm from out of town and it was lovely to see how the owner knows everyone and their order. They were so friendly and the conversation was great! Would come again! Thanks to the owner and her daughter for an amazing amd warm time!

Have been here a few times for coffee. It’s purchased fresh from all over the world, roasted in the shop and absolutely delicious. We chatted with the owner who was so friendly and explained the whole process to us. Will definitely be back!

Swung by cardinal points on the way through Del Rio and it’s a must stop. The owners were so sweet and I’ve rarely ever had coffee this good. It’s a very cool concept nestled into a cute building. Thanks for the great experience!

Just passing through on Memorial Day weekend. Cute coffee shop with a back patio and bar seating. I got the strawberry blush matcha and it was fantastic. Ceremonial grade matcha with homemade strawberry syrup and cold foam. My sister got the same thing but as a latte. The shop sources espresso beans from different countries and rotates their supply. So cool getting to pick the flavor of espresso.
